The xx – Outdoor Theatre

The xx drew a gigantic crowd at the Outdoor Theatre, but unlike their brilliant set at SXSW, they failed to connect with the crowd. The band’s minimalist stylings were calmly rendered such to the point that the crowd seemed anxious in the sunset hour. Still beautiful, but perhaps better suited for a club environment.
