Newcomers The Temper Trap took an atypical approach to the justifiably short length of Coachella sets and played elongated versions of their material, jamming out songs to the ten-minute mark. Singing entirely in upper register high notes and drawing out dance rock atmospherics to their logical extreme, it might’ve been a little more appropriate for a headlining show at a club but wasn’t totally without merit.
