Johnny Rotten’s infamous Public Image Limited took to the one of the final timeslots of the first day. For their first show in the US in a long time, PIL seemed a bit unfocused, meandering through heavily effect-modulated electronica as Rotten howled and sqealed in a delay-ridden tone. The crowd was remarkably sparse as it seemed the attendees at the festival were more interested in Jay-Z and Fever Ray.
