On a meteoric rise to stardom–one that is deserved–Vampire Weekend drew a crowd of positively rediculous proportions at the Outdoor Theatre. Sounding sharp, focused and exuberant, VW encouraged the song to dance on “A-Punk,” to sing along on “Blake’s Got a New Face” and just generally have a good time on every other song. There’s a desire to dislike for being so blatantly poppy, but they’re so damn good at it, it’s hard not to just dance along and enjoy it.
