LCD Soundsystem – Coachella Stage

A real Coachella success story, playing in the Sahara Tent to rave reviews three years back, and the Mojave Tent a few years earlier, about to release their third album This is Happening, LCD Soundsystem had finally arrived at the main stage. James Murphy and his full support band brough through their raucous energy and multi-layered instrumentation with aplomb. “Yeah,” “Losing My Edge” and “Us v Them” all demonstrated how the patience in their approach yields bombastic results, but the reall winner here (somewhat curiously placed at the middle of the set) was “All My Friends.”
