Apple recently has filed patent for “Concert Ticket,” a new iPhone application that would allow users to purchase, use, and store concert tickets,according to Crunch Gear. The new application will replace paper tickets that can be lost and is also allow users access to sporting events, amusement parks and weddings.
One of the more interesting features of Apple’s new possible business venture, is that it includes the possibility of a Near Field Communication (NFC). NFC would allow the iPhone to communicate with other NFC enabled devices or RFID tags. The application would also allow you to easily transfer your tickets to others as well as access more information about the concert or event.
