Indie institutions Surfer Blood (Kanine Records) and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (Slumberland Records) are teaming together this summer for a two-week trek along the east coast of the U.S.The bands will be touring in support of new singles they’ll be releasing in the coming months. Surfer Blood will release a 7″ with a live version of “Take It Easy” featuring Marnie Stern on Record Store Day (April 17), and another 7″ featuring a remix of “Swim” courtesy of Allen of Baroness. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will tour behind their new single “Say No To Love,” out June 8.
