Axl Rose Sued by Front Line Management

Guns n’ Roses frontman Axl Rose is currently being sued by his former managers for total of $1.9 million.  The lawsuit, filed this past Thursday by Front Line Management, accuses Rose—legal name William Bailey—of backing out of a verbal agreement that the singer made in 2008 with the company regarding a 15 percent commission charge. The company says the $1.9 million represents that 15 percent commission that they never received.

Front Line brokered the deal between Guns n’ Roses and Best Buy in the release of Chinese Democracy in 2008.

Rose’s current manager is Doc McGhee, a longtime music industry presence that has managed such bands as KISS, Hootie and the Blowfish and Bon Jovi.
