Fucked Up – Levi’s/FADER Fort

SXSW regulars Fucked Up stormed the FADER Fort in the same timeslot as Nas and Damian Marley did yesterday. However, Fucked Up had far fewer people present. Perhaps because the band is playing about nine other shows this week, but most likely it’s because this wasn’t quite the right fit for the fans normally there to see indie music or hip-hop. Fucked Up’s lead singer Pink Eyes was undaunted though, and roared through every song, taking every chance possible to jump down to the barricade and scream with fans into the mic. The rest of the band (three guitarists strong) wailed with intensity while a small pit formed at the front of the audience.
