Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt – Emo’s Annex/IODA Opening Day Bash

Wow. Green Jelly was going to play SXSW but then pulled out due to a scheduling conflict. They are certainly here in spirit. Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt is an ecstatic piece of organized chaos. With at least 7 members (possibly more?) the band offers goofy hamper-based costumes to people in the crowd, and the co-lead singers stand entirely in the audience causing a manic dance party. No guitars in this band, only horns, keyboards, bass and drums. With inflatable animals everywhere (Tigger!), this band would make both NRBQ and Green Jelly proud.
