The intergalactic band of space dogs, GWAR, announced today that they will be headlining the first annual Crack-a-Thon, a weeklong fundraiser benefiting various children’s charities. The event, in celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary, will begin April 10 in Brooklyn, NY at the infamous MF Gallery on Bond Street. By April 16, the Crack-a-Thon will be in full swing, with webcams broadcasting all of the action inside the Gallery to waiting fans free of charge. The Gallery will be proving a space for donations in the coming days.
“We are trying to raise money for the kids…not just muscular dystrophy, but retards as well, all kinds of fucked-up freaks,” said GWAR-frontman Oderus Urungus.
