Evelyn Evelyn, created and performed by Amanda Palmer (The Dresden Dolls) and Jason Webley, have announced that they will heading out on a world tour in support of their self-titled debut album to be released March 30 via Eleven Records. The characters, Evelyn and Evelyn, are siamese twins that are talented and versatile musicians with a background in circus performance. Their debut album includes a cover of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” and a track concerning the loneliness of online social networking entitled “My Space,” which includes gang vocals by a variety of artists including “Weird Al” Yankovic, Andrew WK, Palmer’s recent fiancé Neil Gaiman, Tegan and Sara, Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and Frances Bean Cobain.
