The Magnetic Fields’ 69 Love Songs box set on limited-edition 10” vinyl is set to be in stores April 20. Pre-orders are available in the Merge Store for a discount before February 14. Those who order early will receive a printable e-valentine to send to the person of their choice. Orders will arrive on or around April 20.
69 Love Songs was released in September in 1999. Spin magazine wrote, “Like the best cabaret, Stephin Merritt’s triple-CD monsterpiece charms on contact, and like the best indie-pop, you’ll want to unravel it endlessly.”
