Thom Yorke, known as Radiohead’s frontman, has put together a new band, and some new gigs. He’s going to perform a couple of short concerts in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theater, October 4th and 5th. The band includes drummer Joey Waronker, percussionist Mauro Refosco, bassist Flea (of Red Hot Chili Peppers) and longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich. They haven’t quite got around to pitching their name yet, but they know they will play some of the material from Yorke’s recently released solo album, Eraser. The Lucky Dragons will open.
