While many may be hard pressed to recall the Australian pop-punk outfit that provided Ben Lee with a launch pad to a solo career, date Claire Danes and marry Ione Skye, they were a sextet that release a pair of LPs on The Beastie Boys‘ now defunct Grand Royal Records. They disbanded in 1995

Now, Ben Lee has decided to resurrect Noise Addict as a trio featuring Lou Barlow (Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh) and Lara Meyerratken. They’ve made their new album, It Was Never About the Audience available here for download.
