British Columbia’s You Say Party! We Say Die! are back and have reinvented themselves with their spirited style of new-wave and new depth of material. The band has announced that their anticipated third album, XXXX, will be released through Paper Bag Records on September 29. The band obtained new inspiration for their third album when they were offered the opportunity to tour China and Japan for the first time in the spring of 2008. The experience ultimately brought You Say Party! We Say Die! closer together than they had ever been and from this, XXXX evolved. The rest of 2008 was spent creating songs for the album, collaborating with producer Howard Redekop, and was finally recorded between January and July of this year. You Say Party! We Say Die! will soon embark on a U.S. tour in support of the new album.
