Featuring Old Crow Medicine Show, Dave Rawlings Machine (Feat. Gillian Welch), The Felice Brothers and Justin Townes Earle, The Big Surprise Tour will kick off on August 4, 2009 in Hampton Beach, NH.
Since this is “An Old Fashioned Review,†the show will not follow the typical concert format: two 90-minute sets, separated by an intermission, with a free flow of the bands and artists across the stage. Musicians will play in each other’s songs and resurrect old standards, in addition to debuting new collaborative material as the tour goes on.
