Epic Woodstock Box Set Out in August

Woodstock – 40 Years On: Back to Yasgur’s Farm, out on August 18, 2009, will feature 38 previously unreleased records on the 6-disc, 77-song collection from the monumental festival. The collection will retail for $79.98 and its track listing is reflective of the actual line-up from the event.

According to Rhino’s Vice President of A&R, the goal was to make this latest release “a true document of that time.” With restorations of full-length performances by Canned Heat, the Who, Arlo Guthrie, and Mountains, Back to Yasgur’s Farm fulfills the Rhino promise of “the most comprehensive collection of Woodstock music yet.”

The only performances missing from the box set is the set from Ten Years After, The Band, and Keef Hartley.
