Robyn Hitchcock Concert Film Debuts June 5th

Robyn Hitchcock: I Often Dream of Trains concert film debuts on the Sundance Channel on June 5th. According to a press release from Yep Roc Records it was filmed live in late 2008 in New York City during the tour celebrating Robyn’s classic 1984 album of the same name. It was shot and directed by John Edginton and “crisply captures the free-associative spontaneity of a Hitchcock live performance.” Robyn dresses in a vintage Hitchcockian polka dots and plays a matching guitar. He’s joined by Terry Edwards (keyboards, horns, bass and vocals) and Captain Tim Keegan (guitar, vocals). There will be a DVD of the film later this year.
