Pete Yorn Album with Scarlett Johansson, and 4th Album Are Set for Release

Folksy-pop singer-songwriter, Pete Yorn is releasing an album with famous actress Scarlett Johansson, entitled Break Up due out on September 8th via Atco/Rhino. The debut single, “Relator” is streaming now on iTunes and at www.thebreakupalbum.com.

Yorn has another album, Back and Fourth coming out in stores, June 23rd via Columbia Records. Yorn relocated from Los Angeles to Omaha, Nebraska and formed a backing band with Joey Waronker (Beck), Nate Wolcott (Bright Eyes, The Faint, Rilo Kiley), Jonny Polonsky, Joe Karnes (John Cale) and Orenda Fink (Azure Ray). Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes) and Frank Black (The Pixies) are the producers.

Currently, Yorn is touring as the opening act for Coldplay until June 4th.
