Destroyer EP, Bay of Pigs is set for release on August 18, 2009. Destroyer’s North American Tour begins in Atlanta on July 27, 2009. They are also performing at the XX Merge 20th Anniversary Music Festival in North Carolina, July 22 – 26, 2009. This album marks Destroyer’s introduction into the ambient disco market with their 13:37 minute song for which the album is entitled. The song was recorded with John Collins and David Carswell at their JCDC Studio in downtown Vancouver. The other side is 7:50, with a song called Ravers.
