TV on the Radio, one of the most auspicious acts of the last decade, have constantly reinvented themselves from album-to-album. That re-engineering shines on their albums, each a polished work of musical gold. Unfortunately, the band’s live set fails to capture their nuanced polish. On the main stage the band came off sounding a bit unrehearsed, each element a smidge from where it feels comfortable. New track “Golden Age,” “Wolf Like Me” (with Celebration’s Katrina Ford) and “Staring at the Sun” all had their moments, but a band of their regard needs to perform at the caliber they record.
