Coachella 2009 – Henry Rollins

For those not fortunate to experience Henry Rollins’ unique approach to spoken word yet, it’s inspiring and profound. His inclusion this year had him extolling the virtues of world travel and the youth community imploring, “The world is waiting for you with open arms.” He surgically framed up an argument that the world’s problems could be drastically improved by making available the freedom of speech and artistic counter culture music we have joking that, “Devo and The Ramones are better than AK 47’s.” His determine plea of “I know things are going to be better, I know it,” was a heart warming moment.
