And in a special treat, Goldenvoice even managed to lure living legend Leonard Cohen to play Coachella at the Outdoor Theatre stage. That placement proved to be a poor choice given the gigantic crowd that assembled, craning their heads as best they could to catch a glimpse of the dapper gentleman with the classy hat. His voice, a deep baritone, his band, flowing and orchestral, Cohen gracefully emoted, allowing female backup singers and even a Spanish guitar solo before ending with “Hallejulah.”
