Coachella 2009 – Morrissey

“What? What’s the matter? Are you having a bad time? Is there anything I can do to make it worse?” quipped Morrissey on the main stage. While his delivery seemed as strong as ever, his legendary temperment seemed to be getting the better of him this year. Making numerous snarky comments about “smelling burnt flesh in the air,” (referring to the dead animals being barbecued at various boothes throughout the festival), The Moz came off a bit more prissy then pristine. Probably no matter to his legions of adoring fans, but likely to be confusing to curious attendees stopping by for a listen.
