Great Northern is set to release their follow-up to 2007’s “Trading Twighlight for Daylight” on April 28, with the new masterpiece “Remind Me Where the Light Is”. Wishing to expand their sound, Bixler and Stolte began working with producer Michael Patterson and Nic Jodoin. “We took a lot more risks by entering uncomfortable territory that wasn’t touched on the last record,” Bixler says.
In support of their new LP, Great Northern will be going on tour with The Dears. Popular music website Imeem stated, “Great Northern’s live performance has evolved into an elegant lush orchestration of pop melodies. Truly a show not to be missed”.
