The new wave band Devo announces first new studio album in almost two decades! It is set to be released in the fall. The band best known for their eighty’s hit, “Whip It”, dropped their last studio album, “Smooth Noodle Maps” in 1990. Their 2007 single, “Watch Us Work” was was so successful in a Dell computer commercial it sparked the decision to create another studio album. Co-founder Gerard Casale and co-founder Mark Mothersbaugh, join their two younger brothers, both named Bob, as well as session musician Josh Freese to form the band. They will perform in Dallas on March 18th, then move on to the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas where they will be keynote speakers on March 19th, and performing live on March 20th.
