The 4th annual Pitchfork Music Festival is set to be held at Chicago’s Union Park Friday July 17- Sunday July 19. Highlight bands set to perform are Yo La Tengo, The National, Built to Spill and The Walkmen. In addition, The Jesus Lizard will be making an appearance, which will be their first time performing in Chicago in eleven years.
The Pitchfork Music Festival is mixing things up by allowing the fans to vote on the set-list, under a new-series titled: “Write the Night: Set-Lists by Request.” When someone buys a ticket they will receive a confirmation email that will include a link to a web page where they can vote on which of each band’s songs they’d like to hear during their set. Voting will begin on March 13 and will end on June 12.
