Harmonix, MTV Games and Apple Corps are teaming up to release the next installment in the Rock Band franchise. Instead of unlocking songs by Nirvana, buying songs by Metallica or downloading songs by No Doubt, the entire new version is a tribute to the Beatles. The game, The Beatles: Rock Band, is being released in stores on September 9th, along with a limited edition set of guitars, basses and drums that are modeled after the band’s instruments.
