Death Cab for Cutie Announces New Video, US Tour

The Seattle-based band Death Cab for Cutie has returned from their tour of Australia and Japan. Their North American tour is set to start April 7th in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania finishing May 7th in Orlando, Florida. Cold War Kids, Matt Costa, and Ra Ra Riot will join on various concerts. In addition, their new video “Grapevine Fires” inspired by the 2007 California wildfires, from their Grammy nominated album, has been announced. This song was recently part of a commemorative CD-DVD celebrating President Barack Obama’s historic inauguration. It was entitled “Change Is Now: Restoring America’s Promise.” The music video was created by Walter Robot and can be viewed just below:

“I have been an admirer of the beautiful art of Walter Robot from afar for a while,” says Death Cab bassist Nick Harmer in press release. “Working with them on this video is an amazing dream come true and I am in awe of the stunning video the have made for us.”
