Green Day set to release its latest album, “21st Century Breakdown,” in May, 2009, from Warner Bros. It was produced by the legendary Butch Vig at the same studio where they recorded the Grammy-winning American Idiot, Warning, Insomniac and Dookie. The new album is split into three parts: “Heroes and Cons,” “Charlatans & Saints” and “Horseshoes & Handgrenades.” While it’s not as political as their previous album “American Idiot” released five years ago, it’s still full of social commentary with lyrics such as, “My generation is zero / I’d never make it as a working class hero.”
