Silversun Pickups, is an indie rock band from the Silverlake music district of Los Angeles. Signed to Dangerbird Records, their new album, Swoon,/i> is due out late spring. Silversun Pickups frontman, Brian Aubert, describes the songs on the follow-up album to the Los Angeles band’s 2006 Dangerbird breakthrough, Carnavas, as being far more complex. It even includes a 16-piece string section with members of the Section Quartet on select cuts. The group plans to tour, but the only confirmed date is for an appearance at Coachella in mid-April.
