A Flamin’ Groovy Reunion

With their first two albums, Supersnazz and Flamingo respectively, The Flamin’ Groovies laid the framework for the early 70s power pop movement that would give the world Big Star. After their third album, Teenage Head, Roy Loney left the band in 1971 and Cyril Jordan would continue to steer the ship.

Fast-forward 38 years to the eighth edition of the Ponderosa Stomp festival. Roy Loney and Cyril Jordan will share the same stage once again. The festival will take place April 28-29 at the House of Blues in New Orleans.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/flamin-groovies-principals-to-reunite-1003937130.story
