Prior to Coachella’s line-up being revealed, anticipation levels were high enough to bring fans to speculate the ridiculously impossible as well as go to great lengths for hints, confirmations and answers. From keeping track of every buzzworthy band’s myspace page, to calling publicists and even chief organizers at home, those most dedicated to this desert festival left no stone unturned and no rumor – be it the reunion of Led Zeppelin, Pavement or the resurrection of John Lennon – seemed too crazy.
Then the line-up arrived, with Paul McCartney, Morrissey, The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Amy Winehouse and Thievery Corporation with headlining spots. The supporting cast includes, TV on the Radio, Fleet Foxes, The Bug, Los Campesinos! and many, many more.
