Disbanded since 1999, Pavement, may reunite at Coachella which will be held April 17 – 19th in Southern California. Guitarist Scott Kannenberg (aka Spiral Stairs) told music magazine, Loud & Quiet during a recent interview “it could be a fun thing to do, go and play your favorite songs every night!” Kannenberg went on to mention Coachella representatives are talking to Pavement’s booking agent, but their agent will wait for the right number.
At the very least, their final album Terror Twilight is due to receive re-mastering treatment in 2009, the year which would mark the 20th year anniversary of the band.
Kannenberg implied some previously unheard material may also be released.
