In San Francisco from February 24 to March 1, the city will be a-buzz due to the 17th edition of the Noise Pop Festival. The first details of the bands set to cause that buzz have surfaced and include No Age, Antony and the Johnsons, Goblin *****, A.C. Newman, Clues and Deer and The Headlights. More are still to come.
For those unaware, Noise Pop also likes to showcase films that embrace indie music and culture. Noise Pop 2009 will feature screenings of Agile Mobile Hostile: A Year with Andre Williams and Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison. More details are still to come concerning this festival.
