Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland plans to drop a new solo pressing on November 18. Happy released by Weiland’s own label, Softdrive, will be his first solo album in a decade. His previous release, 12 Bar Blues, was Weiland’s solo debut and largely considered a commercial failure.
Co-produced by Weiland and Tom Dumont, Happy also boasts stand-in performances by No Doubt bandmembers Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Dumont.
Dates for a November tour are in the works.
