In support of their latest anthem, Midnight Madness, due out on August 19th, the Chemical Brothers have announced a new contest. Fans can now contribute their own vision of the theme Midnight Madness via the Google Earth application on their website and tag it to their exact location. The best work will be selected from the entries and will be used to create a new concept video for Midnight Madness and will be premiered on the Chemical Brothers website and as a YouTube exclusive the same week as their best of album, Brotherhood.

Anyone interested may submit a film from 2 to 20 seconds “celebrating the insanity that goes on at the stroke of midnight and related to the specific point of origin.” Photos are also acceptable. All entries must be submitted before August 25, 2008. Interested applicants who may not be the best filmmakers can still tag and launch their favorite Chemical Brothers track from their location on Google Earth.

Midnight Madnes will be released as a digital download on August 19, 2008 and the Brotherhood album (both in single disc and limited edition double disc) will be released on September 2, 2008 on Astralwerks.
