Antiquiet.com supposed leaked nine mastered and finished tracks from the also supposed upcoming release of the album Chinese Democracy. Guns N’ Roses’ management immediately invoked a cease-and-desist on the website and the links were quickly removed.
The songs revealed include: “If the World,†“Rhiad and the Bedouins,†“Better,†“The Blues,†“Chinese Democracy,†“Madagascar,†“IRS,†“There Was a Time,†and a yet to be titled track. Six of the tracks have already been leaked, all except “Rhiad and the Bedouins,†“If the World,†and the untitled track. “Rhiad “ was played live when GNR toured during 2001 and 2002.
The band ended their latest world tour last year in June with three dates in Mexico with no further tour plans announced. While there is no set date for Chinese Democracy’s release as of now, Dr. Pepper announced in March earlier this year that if the album is released in 2008, they will provide a can of soda for everyone in the country, with the exception of Slash and Buckethead. Axl Rose, however, admitted on the Guns N’ Roses website that he would share his can with Buckethead because of his help on the album.
