Pomegranates Debut Album Out 5/13

Self-characterized as “art pop,” the young group the Pomegranates’ full-length debut album, Everything is Alive, will be released on May 13th, 2008, by Lujo Records.

The band is comprised of Joey Cook (vocals, guitar, keys, percussion), Isaac Karns (guitar, bass, sampling, percussion, vocals), Josh Kufeldt (bass, guitar), and Jacob Merritt (drums, percussion) and are based out of Cincinnati, OH. After releasing their first EP Two Eyes in June of last year, the band started recording the 10 tracks of Everything is Alive last August at Sound of Music studios.

Pomegranates have shared the stage with Jimmy Eat World, French Kicks, Joe Lally of Fugazi, Chris Garneau, and Ra Ra Riot. Their remaining spring tour dates are below:
