David Gilmour On DVD

Pink Floyd ax man David Gilmour will release a double-DVD set entitled Remember That Night – Live at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, September 18. This is a two-and-a-half hour concert featuring fellow Pink Floyd-er Richard Wright, David Crosby, Graham Nash, David Bowie, Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music and others.

Disc 1 features the gig consisting of material from On An Island as well as Floyd classics like “High Hopes,” “Shine on You Crazy Diamond,” “Comfortably Numb” and the first filmed performance of “Echoes” in its 20-minute entirety since Pink Floyd’s Live From Pompeii. Disc 2 contains additional performances from the Royal Albert Hall gig as well as documentaries on the making of On An Island, recording at Abbey Road Studios and AOL Sessions recordings as well as performances from the BBC Mermaid Theatre Concert.
