R.E.M. has announced that for the first time ever they are releasing a two disc, one DVD live album. The album aptly named R.E.M., Live was recorded February 27th, 2005 in Dublin at the Point during the band’s Around the Sun tour. The live album is set for release on October 16th of this year.
The band is also reported to be currently in production of a new album due to be released some time next year.
