Maroon 5 debuted at number one this week on the US Billboard Charts with It Won’t Be Soon Before Long.
Their sophomore LP, the first for the group in four years, moved 429,000 copies in its first week. Last week’s number one record, Linkin Park’s Minutes to Midnight, dropped to number two with 198,000 copies sold.
The top 3 was rounded out by Ozzy Osbourne, who scored a personal best with 152,000 copies of his new album Black Rain sold.
