New Hot Hot Heat on the Horizon

Canadian rockers Hot Hot Heat will release a follow-up to 2005’s Elevator this fall.

Happiness LTD will be released on September 11th vis Sire. It will feature will production from Butch Walker, Tim Palmer, and Rob Cavallo.

New tracks will include “Harmonicas & Tambourines” and “Outta Heart,” which frontman Steve Bays insists is “the most non-Hot Hot Heat song we’ve ever done.”

The band will also embark on a brief US tour this week where they will introduce their audiences to the new material.

They will play the following dates:

May 10: Oklahoma City (Diamond Ballroom)
May 11: Kansas City, Mo. (City Market)
May 12: Little Rock, Ark. (Juanita’s Cantina Ballroom)
May 14: Albuquerque, N.M. (Launchpad)
May 16: Ft. Collins, Colo. (Aggie Theatre)
May 17: Morrison, Colo. (Red Rocks)
May 18: Salt Lake City, Utah (Club Sound)
May 20: Seattle (WaMu Theatre)
