Sierra and Bianca Casady, the sisters behind electro-folk outfit CocoRosie have been arrested for undisclosed reasons and forced to cancel all but one of their North American tour dates.
Per a bulletin from the band’s MySpace page, “We are so sorry to announce that we cannot play the rest of the U.S. tour dates. The band got arrested…that’s all I can say.”
The dates were in support of the duo’s third album, The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn, and included stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
Though still scheduled to play their May 19th show in New York City, no rescheduled dates in the near future have been announced.
