Flaming Lips Raise The Curtain On Yoshimi

The Flaming Lips are headed for Broadway with a musical based on its 2002 album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. The project is in its early stages, but Des McAnuff of Jersey Boys, 700 Sundays and Urinetown fame will direct and Aaron Sorkin of The West Wing and Sports Night notoriety will write the play.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003565768
