R.E.M. will unveil songs aimed for their 14th studio album during a five-night run of live dates in Dublin this summer. The shows are set for June 30th, July 1st and July 3rd through the 5th at the Olympia Theatre. It has been over a decade since the band has played new songs live before they appeared on an album.
Released digitally earlier this month, R.E.M.’s new single, a cover of John Lennon’s “#9 Dream,” was the lead track from the Darfur benefit album Instant Karma.
