July 7th, 2007 will see recently reunited alt-rockers Smashing Pumpkins release Zeitgeist, their first album of new material since 2000’s MACHINA: The Machines of God.
However, this reunion sees guitarist/frontman Billy Corgan reunited with drummer Jimmy Chamberlain while bassist D’Arcy Wretzky and guitarist James Iha remain out of the picture. Wretzky’s replacement, Melissa Auf der Maur is absent as well.
