The 2006 Ozzfest lineup has been announced. Rocking the main stage, as usual, will be Ozzy Osbourne, performing ten dates this year, along with System of a Down, Disturbed, Hatebreed, and Lacuna Coil. Set to appear on the second stage will be Black Label Society, Atreyu, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Norma Jean, and others.
System of a Down has been reported as going on an indefinite hiatus once fulfilling their Ozzfest commitment. This is by no means the end of the band, says guitarist Daron Malakian, but “sometimes you just want to stop and slow down.”
