Alicia Keys to the Small Screen

Alicia Keys has signed a development deal with UPN for a dramatic series based on her childhood. Keys was raised by her mother in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen after her father abandoned left when she was 2. She began musical training at the age of 7 and graduated from the Professional Performing Arts School as valedictorian. She had a recording contract at 16.
